Confirmed from Little Toots Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Little Toots Park
“The taller trees provided nice shade and it was a very inviting park along the Yampa River Core Trail to stop and take some pictures and rest.”
“It is part of Steamboat so what can I say its well kept and a family friendly area!”
Little Toots is a classic! Steamboat's premier family park. Play ground, swings. BBQ grills, picnic tables, gazebo. Perfect for a fun family get together. Plenty of grass for games and sturdy trees to slack line.
A wonderful respite in town. Small park sandwiched between the creek and the river and adjacent to the Library in Steamboat Springs. Parking available and the Core Trail goes right by it. Lots of shady spots and a great children's play area.
Little Toots roars with its vast play options. Highly recommend for families needing to stretch legs (or run off some energy!). Great access to the river walk and creek while also being able to grab a quick bite at various restaurants or brewery’s in the area. Highly recommended family stop in Steamboat.
Has wonderful trails attached to it. It is part of Steamboat so what can I say its well kept and a family friendly area! Whether you bike, longboard, run, or just walk around with yourself or your four legged friend its a great park!
