Confirmed from London Bridge Beach's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring waterfront picnic/BBQ areas, athletic fields, walking trails & swimming.
What runners say about London Bridge Beach

“Beautiful free park, right on the waterfront of the Caribbean green Colorado River.”
“The views of the historic London Bridge add a unique charm, and there are shaded picnic areas, grassy spots, and a walking path that make it great for kids and couples alike.”
London Bridge Beach is a hidden gem in the desert-perfect for a relaxing day by the water. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, with families, boaters, and beachgoers all enjoying the sunshine. The water is clear, warm, and calm, ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, or just floating around.
Beautiful place Lake Havasu City and the canal! We stopped on our way to Vegas and enjoyed walking the canal path to the beach area and back. Got a snow cone at the Bridge tourist center and went on our way. My cousin in Vegas said this is where they like to come on their boat outings now.
The beach was a great place to watch boats going by and to take a dip. Too many stones on the beach and in the first few feet of water made it hard on the feet, but further out it was just a muddy bottom. A great little beach with plenty of picnic areas and benches along the path.
Beautiful beach park. You can walk there from the London bridge path or you can drive. There’s lots of parking. Public bathrooms are close to the playground. I found a couple of light house replicas near by.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
