So glad we went here. Your first stop should be the lake at the entrance to the park road. It's part of the park but a bit separate. The lake is quite nice and worth visiting. Take lone pine road to the top and you'll find there's plenty of parking. Restroom is conveniently next to the parking lot.
A great place to go for short or long hikes. Amazing views over the valley. The level of difficulty is very low on most trails, and they are all connected and easy to navigate with clearly marked signs. Will most definitely be returning for more hiking adventures with the kiddos.
Amazing view with handicapped accessible cement trail! Many other dirt trails in the park. Ample spots to park. Restrooms and visitor center (see hours).
To start with the obvious, the views are pretty awesome no matter the time of day. And secondly, it's a very easy hike considering you can drive to, basically, the top and park. If one chose, you could park at the bottom and hike all the way to the top.
