Loon feather Park is a well kept park and nice 11v11 grass soccer field maintained by Ypsi Township. They have treated us well and we appreciate the park space to train at! We have played friendly matches from 2023-2025 at Loon feather and also hosted tryouts there for our competitive soccer team.
I was truly surprised by how beautiful and peaceful this park was. During my morning run, I spotted the sign for Loon Feather Point Park and excitedly decided to walk in. I was immediately greeted by beautiful trees, birds flying overhead, and squirrels busily searching for food.
I like that it's easy and neighborly in it's location. It is a great place to relax outdoors close to home. For such a small park it's not boring. It has some nice swings and fun little bit of a trail. There's a small dock you can fish from and a small soccer field kids can play in.
Always a great place to go for picnics, or a quiet place to walk around. I went out with my family and got some beautiful pictures of the sunset while I was out there yesterday.
