Confirmed from Los Amigos Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Los Amigos Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (243 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“Solar powered USB ports for phones, misters, shade, very clean.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“This park has 2 beautiful jungle gym sets, for toddlers or small children, and a large set for older children.”

🌳 shaded & cool 9 mentions

“Pretty park, has a skate park area (this attracts a slightly older crowd sometimes), a picnic area with a little shade from the pergola but is still crazy hot in the summer.”

The parking lot is small, but don't let that fool you-this park has a fitness area, a toddler playground, some bigger play equipment, a small field (big enough to bring your friends out), some cool animal states around the walking path, bathrooms, vending machines, and even a pretty cool skate park built in.

Free parking. Tot Lot and over age 5 playground. Nice play structures. Feels relatively new. Only two swings, which were for infants and toddlers. No sand. Basketball court. Workout area. Walking path with a little bridge. Sheltered picnic area with four picnic tables and benches. We saw restrooms but didn't use them.

Such a beautiful park. Solar powered USB ports for phones, misters, shade, very clean.

Pretty park, has a skate park area (this attracts a slightly older crowd sometimes), a picnic area with a little shade from the pergola but is still crazy hot in the summer. Two play structures; the bigger one has tiny canopies, the smaller one is in the shade of the trees.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
