Confirmed from Bear Gulch Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Community park offering picnic areas & a playground as well as a soccer field & fitness trail.

“Rhe city of Rancho Cucamonga could install shade tarps as well, do to the lack of shade near the play area.”
Its. Beautiful park mon-fri Rugby , saturday and sunday soccor .. Theres a trail to walk and exercise plenty of shade beautiful purple flower trees.. Place for picnics and playground for kids..
Beautiful Bear Gulch park is located in front of the school on Arrow Route. just past Vineyard Ave. and next to the apartments.
Bear Gulch Park, located in Upland, CA, is, in my opinion, the best park to walk and to exercise in all of the Inland Empire. The park is well maintained and clean, there is a feeling of safety here and there is almost always someone here if not on the center field playing soccer and the bathrooms are well kept.
The play equipment is old and run-down but offers a few features that are slightly different from other parks in the area. No parking lot. Elementary school nearby. Random childless adults frequently use the restrooms. There are trees, but they offer little shade for the play structures. Picnic tables are plentiful.
