What runners say about Lost Creek Prairie Preserve
The outer loop is almost a mile and a half. It’s a nice walk but provides little to no shade. There are several small trails through the wooded area in the middle which are very nice. There are also several places to go off trail and explore near the river.
I use this park almost daily. There are a miriad of wide beautiful trails. I run, ride bikes, go on walks with the grandkids there. We often see birds, white tailed deer, rabbits, squirrels and ground hogs. The paths are wide and safe. They trim the trees and keep the grass cut.
Cery nice place to walk the trail or chill out with some buddies. Many areas off the main trail to chill in a fire pit. I think i even saw a hammock at some point
We love walking our dogs here. Wish it was maintained more often, but still a nice place to walk.
