Confirmed from Lower Spring Creek Canyon Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lower Spring Creek Canyon Trail
Great area for hiking, biking, and running. These trails meet up with the Buzzard Gulch trail system as well. There's a lot of ways to make this your own trail by adding extra miles. It's a beautiful area and there is a lot of space for everyone to enjoy. It gets hot out here, so bring water and a hat!
I walked the trails with a friend today. They're in good shape, just watch out for the giant patches of cactus. They'll poke through the sides of your sneakers. We enjoyed the views of the area. We were a little disappointed that people have broken glass bottles ALL over. But it has still a nice walk.
Not the most scenic, very exposed, but easy hiking and biking. Has one awesome bike trail within (“legit gully”) with features built up on it. Out and back or exit at a couple of options ~5 miles down the trail.
Easy rocky hike surrounded by scrub, fairly flat with some small inclines, leading to overlooks on canyons. Pretty scenery.
