Confirmed from Ludington Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“Yesterday, my son, nephew & I got to go & see Lake Superior & it was just beautiful”

Always a great place for a get away! A great and safe area to walk and enjoy multiple activities.

I was in Esky on a beautiful day, looking for a nice walk. I found it here. There is a long, paved stretch for walking. Leashed animals allowed. Bicycles allowed, though I'm not sure how much of the path they can access. It's a beautiful walk along the shore of Little Bay, past the marina, and SandyPoint Lighthouse.

★★★★★ — Patty , Mar 2025

Great waterfront park and marina. Lots to do and see. Swimming, walking, biking, frisbee golf, huge playground, picnic area and pavilion with grills. Close to downtown and great views from everywhere in the park. Great park to spend a day. Ty 👍✌️

What a lovely little park for a picnic or a walk! Many of the trees have signs telling you what they are, the path is easy going and clear, and there's plenty of parking and lakeside views.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
