Confirmed from Lumberton City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with a playground, tennis courts, disc golf course, dog park, and a splash pad.
What runners say about Lumberton City Park
“Very clean and alot of fun the turf grass is phenomenal great for all families”
We love Lumberton City Park or as locals like to call it 421 park. The playground It’s completely fenced in and has an area for older and younger children there are shaded benches available. And they recently just built a skate park for the kids and almost completed construction on the new splash pad!
Plenty of pavilions to sit and watch the kids, and the playground is fenced in with 3 exits so it is much easier to keep eyes on them. There is disk golf, a separate fenced in dog park for training, and a large area for performances with a small stage area.
Nice park with usually pretty clean bathroom and water fountains. Good covered picnic areas. Fenced in playground and dog parks separated for big and small dogs. Long track for walking or biking. Great area for pictures. Even has frisbee golf course.
Been coming here for years. Great place to play disc golf, take the kids to the playground , or simply play pickleball. The dog park is kinda small but it's a safe space for them. The walking path is my favorite part.
