Confirmed from Lundeen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lundeen Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,333 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Safety zone and comfort u can have playground and nice clean sand beach with cutie ducks family.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“Pretty nice park with ample parking and great views of the mountains around with clear water to see the lake bed.”

This is a good medium sized park with the playground area separated from the gravelly sand beach. A refreshment and kayak rental store is open 12 to 6. They sell bottled water and juices and drumstick ice cream cones. The playground is made up of two units. One unit is large and made for kids 5 years old and up.

Linden Park is just awesome. It has something for everyone. You can book a shed for birthday parties or simply put a canopy out in the great park and have a blast. Plenty of benches to go around and lot of places otherwise to just lay your picnic mat and have fun with your families.

A nice park do walk or jog and bring dogs on a leash. I've waded in the Lake but never swam in it. The beach is small but nice. There is plenty of grass space to hang out on or benches and a covered picnic area and BBQ.

A nice park do walk or jog or play with your kids. The beach is beautiful and quiet and it is small. There is plenty of grass space to hang out on with friends and family. There is a Kayak rental place. An excellent place to bring the kids for picnic. Enjoy the scenic nature.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
