Confirmed from Luther Hormel Memorial Park (City of Fremont)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverside park featuring paved trails for biking and hiking, plus river access.
What runners say about Luther Hormel Memorial Park (City of Fremont)
“Giant Cottonwoods are down and the park is a bit of a mess from the storms but it’s beautiful.”
Not much to do other than walk, bike or hike but it's nice. Your choice of paved or dirt trails. River outlook available and a observation bridge to take in nature. Very primitive, no bench, no picnic tables currently no restroom, no play ground, no gril or fire pits. Good place to walk a dog, bike or walk.
I absolutely love this place. As a person who likes nature, this is my favorite place in Fremont. You can hike, swim in the river, fish, or just relax. The view of the river is absolutely gorgeous. I can’t even count how many times I’ve been here!
Great spot to get in for a day on the river. Nice wide ramp allows multiple adventurers to enter at once. Very scenic entrance to the river with great photo opportunities. This ramp also allows for a nice comfortable exit from the river.
My roommate and i went toad hunting and just listening to nature she getting all the pent up rage out and away from the crazy ppl out there. Great trails to be on and find your own lil peace of heaven all your own off the trail but your own trail so no one can contact you or find you for weeks and weeks and weeks just…
