Confirmed from Luton Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with wooded and prairie vistas featuring marked trails for hiking and mountain biking.
What runners say about Luton Park
“Everyone is always friendly and it is so well maintained.”
“The scenery is quite beautiful and there are bridges and a creek running through as well.”
“We took our dog for a walk and made sure to step aside when a biker was coming.”
I love this place. It's very close to my house and a quick drive to downtown Rockford. We took our dog for a walk and made sure to step aside when a biker was coming. It's a must visit. Mountain bikers appeared to really enjoy the trails. This was a hike/walk that I feel would be good for the whole family.
I am a Rockford, MI engagement and wedding photographer. I recently did bridal photos with a couple at this park and loved it! Sunset was definitely the best time in the summer. We loved the sun coming through the trees.
The mountain bike and hiking trails are great! Easy enough for those mountain bikers not so skilled. But enough climbs and challenge to give the fast riders some fun.
Awesome MTB trails that are well marked and maintained. The bathrooms are very nice. Plenty of parking!
