Confirmed from Lysander Town Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean, well-cared-for park featuring a splash pad and playground, with hiking trails and sports facilities.
What runners say about Lysander Town Park
“Not only is the splash pad fantastic, but there is a playground, picnic tables, a large field to play or sun bathe in, clean bathrooms, and pavillions for your party needs.”
I see lots of photos of the courts + playground + sports fields. But hardly any of trail. So..... Here they are! (Photos) My dog loved it!
Lovely, newly renovated park with a small playground, and restroom. There's a short nature trail full of tall, majestic trees.
Preschool field trip. The splash pad was a huge hit with kids and adults as well. And the playground area was the perfect way for them to run out some of their excitement & energy. There was a covered area which kept us dry when the inevitable Syracuse rain appeared & the bathrooms were clean & well maintained.
Love this park! 😀 You can pack a lunch and spend most of the day here, lots to do and also walking trails. Kids love the playground splash pad. Bathrooms are also clean.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
