Confirmed from Manila Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Waterfront park with a pond for paddle boarding and kayaking, plus swimming and fishing.
What runners say about Manila Creek Park
“I'm sure the lawn doesn't cut itself, and the pond was clean, but everything appeared to be well maintained.”
“We walk around the track in the mornings and look forward to seeing the beautiful ducks and sometimes the Canadian Geese.”
“Needs shade and it would be a better destination for beginner swimming and paddleboarding, etc.”
Nice little pond, if you were to walk around it it would take 10-15 minutes. It has a swimming area. Do they allow fishing? Yes they do, whether or not it is catch / release I don't know. As far as shade goes it has a few places to sit on the opposite end of the swim area.
Needs shade and it would be a better destination for beginner swimming and paddleboarding, etc. Not a lot of water lately.
Great little swimming place. Decent amount of parking, there are some small grassy areas with shade. Not much, but if you get it, you don't need a canopy. We had kayaks, and a couple of places in the water had high spots that scraped, but overall, a good paddle. You can see the entirety of the water from most places.
This is one of my very favorite spots in Utah county. I love to come here with my family and walk the path, and we have spent many hours at the beach playing in the sand and feeding the ducks.
