Confirmed from Maple Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Maple Hill Park
“One of the best Parks in Orange County very clean & well kept a nice children's play area & workout equipment in different areas of the park”
“Great playground for kids very clean and near a nice quiet neighborhood.”
This park is extremely inclusive compared to other parks in the area. With so much to do, you can be here for hours without even realizing it. There's playgrounds on the northeast side. Then, of course, you have your picnic areas with pavillions and tables.
Absolutely love this spot for a quick calisthenic workout ! Great spot to walk around the pond and it has a playground for the kids with huge slides lol
Trail conditions & character
“The dog park is located on the northwest side, separated from everything else a bit.”
“We came early on a weekday and had the whole park to ourselves One complaint is there wasn't a bathroom close”
“Great playground for kids very clean and near a nice quiet neighborhood.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
