We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Maple Hills Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Maple Hills Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (5 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

It would be nicer if the entrance through timberlane was still open but sadly it's blocked by a fence that says private property for some reason? so it's a bit more of a walk but it's still a good trail

★★★★☆ — Camdin , May 2024

The Maple Hills trail head is located between two homes. The maple hills trail ends at the Gary Patrick trail head entrance if you turn right. This trail is very beautiful, the path is walkable 20-30 minutes depending on your pace. There are roots and some mud but I think it’s still a kid friendly trail.

★★★★★ — Anay , Jan 2025

Nice little park for a stroll or a run. The trails are anything but smooth, so being your ORV stroller if you are pushing kids. Lots of good elevation changes too. Not huge ones, but just enough to wind you, them give you time to recover before the next one.

★★★★☆ — Chris , Aug 2025

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
