Confirmed from Jenkins Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Semi-rustic park offering paved walking trails and a pond.
What runners say about Jenkins Creek Park
“Beautiful, peaceful, quiet park with a sitting bench and a picnic table.”
This is a nice urban park with many trail access points. There is very limited parking and no facities. There are some nice trails: paved, grass, and stone. There is a small pond and a creek flowing through the park. There is both an upper and lower section to the park.
We found this quaint little Park after trying to locate a nice spot to walk the dog. It's kind of tucked away behind a residential neighborhood with not too much parking from the entry that specified on Google Maps but if you can find it and you want to find a place to take a walk I would highly recommend checking it…
Online it days it’s open 24 hours and at the gate is days only open dawn to dusk. There was clearly wind damage and tree falls when I was there. And mostly cleaned up. The paths are good though I think a stroller or walked will struggle with some of the unevenness of the paths.
Super awesome adventuring! If you are trying to satisfy the explorer in you, get lost in these trails for a day!! This park has so many trails and a cute creek. There's tiny bridges to criss cross over it everywhere. Just make sure to wear good boots. It's muddy.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
