Confirmed from Mapleview Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Casual green space featuring a playground and a short, scenic trail.
What runners say about Mapleview Park
“Just please clean up after yourself; your mother isn't here.”
Mapleview Park is about what you'd expect for a small park in a small neighborhood. The highlight is a bridge over a small creek, where you can birdwatch if you don't mind standing. There's only one bench on the trail around the park, and it faces the park itself (swings, playground, eating area).
It was a good visit. Not to get sentimental. But I actually grew up here, but we ended up moving away when I was about 5. So 28 years later, it was nice to visit that place again. Some of it has changed. We got to see our old house and elementary school. It's a good place to bring kids.
Awesome park to visit in the winter (although it would be nice if the bathrooms had been open). Kids and Grownups got to expend some energy, and we even saw a deer on the short trail through the woods!
It was clean whn we received it. And clean whn we left it the shade was good the bathroom was on point
