Confirmed from Marconi Access - Big Creek Greenway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering a paved trail for biking, jogging, and walking, plus a public restroom.
What runners say about Marconi Access - Big Creek Greenway
“Well-kept and paved, and love the sitting areas at this lot and the bike repair station!”
“This is the most beautiful bike trail I've been on in the south.”
I love this section of the greenway. There are side trails to mountain bike or run/walk off the actual greenway path as well.
One of the shadiest walks on the Greenway as long as you stay out of the paths of cyclists. This is a huge path for cyclists so they are hard to avoid. About 1/2 are polite enough to announce passing on the left.
I went running here, I think most people use it for biking. There was a bike tool kit station you can use to fix your bike. Well kept trail.
Only spent a few miles on this trail, but it was beautiful. It is well maintained and clean. There are picnic tables at the beginning large enough for 4 people to sit comfortably.
Trail conditions & character
“There were no restrooms that I saw at the entrance or along the part of trail I completed.”
“It's a very relaxing paved trail that has an underpass and crosses over (under) a road for a longer trail.”
“Plenty of parking, easy access in and out, and a maintenance station at the entrance.”
“Moral here for walkers/runners: stay right, make sure you pay attention and make sure your dog is on a SHORT leash!”
“Great for bicycles, stroller, and wheelchairs”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
