Confirmed from Mars Hill Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mars Hill Trail
Trail is made up of well packed dirt big enough for a car, DO NOT take a car on the trail, but it's steep. When not steep there is still elevation gain, not a lot of shade. Bring plenty of water
This is a fantastic trail. Really really wide and most parts really simple to navigate. There are some elevation changes and since I'm new to the area I'm still adjusting to the elevation I really like this trail. It starts basically across the street from the park in which the directions will take you to.
A nice out and back hike. Use GaiaGPS or All Trails if you would like to try the adjacent trails to make a loop. A bit of uphill, but easy
Good hiking trail primarily used by locals. Park across the street next to the dog park. Elevation can be moderate at times, no services observed on trail. No significant sites, but full of trees and quiet.

“Not crowded on weekends, some runners, some bikers (now that's crazy because it's not that flat) and some dog walkers”
