Confirmed from Marshview Park (Southside)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a beautiful big neighborhood park. It’s a surprise bc it’s literally tucked back in some neighborhoods. It has three entrances from the Shadowlawn neighborhood with small parking lots. Huge field with three small play areas for children and a pavilion. A dog park.

Great park and hiking trails. Bike trails for mountain biking and off road e-bikes. Paved loop for everyone including limited mobility individuals! Highly recommended!

★★★★☆ — Matt , Feb 2023

This is a great park for bikes / hiking / walking etc. Trails are well maintained and very welcoming. Bike trails are not too difficult with some quick tracks. Fun meter 5of5 Great place to go in VA BCH. And feel like you’re not in VA BCH. 👍🏻👍🏻

Park here for convenient access to the children playground and the southside entrance to the walking trail. But note there are not many parking spaces here. If the lot is full, then park at the much larger lot at Marshview Park Field.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
