Confirmed from Martha McLean-Anza Narrows Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“A beautiful large park with an amazing frisbee golf course with views of the Santa Ana river and snow capped mountains and old historic railroad bridge across the river.”

We went for the first time last weekend. It was really nice and had nice views. We walked on the trail a little bit too. Hope to come back with our bikes.

It's a nice park full of families people biking walking and jogging. Car meet ups, people playing frisbee and golf. There is the occasional homebum walking about but that's to be expected being so near the rivers edge.

★★★★★ — James , Feb 2021

The park is unique in more than one accept. One: The riverside river runs through it. that adds a dynamic feature of water sound and motion that complements the other life-full features of the park. Two: The train passes adjacent to the park, crossing over a beautiful, massive masonry overhead bridge.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
