Confirmed from Mt. Rubidoux Peak's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Amazing, scenery is phenomenal and beautiful and everything was phenomenal.”

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“So many people of all ages and lots of pur babies.”

I love Mt. Rubidoux where I have been exercise for 10 years. I pretty much enjoy walking for around 3 miles round trip although I have been seeing the same views but I can not resist and stop to shot photo in each trip. Amazingly, all the pictures I shot are never the same.

It’s a nice hike on paved paths just very crowded and a lot of dog poop so watch your step

★★★★☆ — Andrea , Mar 2025

Started hiking at 03:15 PM with two little kids(7 & 5 yrs old) and get to the tower at 03:50PM. even it was just 30 min easy hiking, had to drink some water due to Riverside hot weather, no shade on the trail. back to the trail head at 04:45PM and had to walk a bit more to the Ryan Bonaminio patking lot.

A great peak to hike to in the park. It is about a mile hike to the peak along a paved walkway. There is a loop trail at the peak as well and a large white cross at the peak. The views on a clear non-smoggy day are great and the peak offers 360 degree views.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
