We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Martindale Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly option featuring courts and a playground with swings and other equipment.
What runners say about Martindale Park
“Well kept but small children's park with playground equipment, bench swings and gazebos.”
“This park is so fun and it has something for all ages.”
Small park with constant police surveillance due to police and fire station being close by. Swings, tennis courts, chess tables, and a fairly large playset. Also right beside a paved walking trail I run on often
Well kept but small children's park with playground equipment, bench swings and gazebos. Check out the longer trail across the street for more walking!
Grand kids had a blast. Lot of things for them to play on, plenty of room to run and play, and benches to sit on as they play

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
