Confirmed from Englewood MetroPark East Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground and picnicking, plus trails, disc golf, and a nature play area.

“The hiking trails are wide and well maintained.”
“This Metropark is beautiful and is a must visit if you are in the area.”
I had the pleasure of visiting this place last fall, in October 2023. I got to see the leaves in full color change, and Ohio in full fall foliage. It was magnificent. The park itself has numerous trails, picnic areas, and places to be.
Really enjoyed hiking at this park. The trails were well marked and maintained. I am color blind and I REALLY appreciated the trail signs have been made to reflect both the color and the letter representing the color. VERY clever and makes hiking her easier. I was however shocked to see the lake has dried up.
East Park is very relaxing place to go nice place to walk and see nature

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
