Confirmed from Mary Ann Furnace Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Beginner-friendly, scenic hiking trails featuring creek access, campsites, picnic tables and wetlands.

“Great trail, very clean and easy to follow”
2.2 mile trail with a small waterfall under the bridge as you first start, the trail goes along the lake in some spots and is nicely shaded, there are benches along the trail as well.
Love this area! The parking lot is right next to the creek- a great place to relax with some picnic tables. The trail is about 2.2 miles loop after taking a straight path from the parking area. Very diverse and scenic with the creeks, streams, marsh area and Chestnut tree research area.
I call this The Turtle trail when I'm with my kids. We always see turtles. Trail gets muddy at some spots. Also it's popular with dog walkers.
Short but nice hike. A little bit of everything in a 2 1/2 mile. Honeysuckle galore. Really a good hike at the end of your day if you're in the area.
