Confirmed from Mary Brogan Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a basketball court and skate ramps along with a playground and picnic tables.
What runners say about Mary Brogan Park
Really good place to skate... until parents don't watch their kids and let them run all over the ramps
Mary Brogan Park is named in honor of a Martin County educator and advocate for breast cancer awareness. Mary Brogan was the wife of Frank Brogan who served as Florida's lieutenant governor under Jeb Bush. Mary grew up in Cincinnati along with her childhood sweetheart who would later become her husband.
My son likes coming here to do tricks on his scooter. The other kids, sometimes even big kids, are nice and generally polite… even if they are in bikes/blades/boards. The adjacent playground and paths keep my other kids fairly occupied while he is scooting. I hope they keep this place up so we can keep coming.
Good park to skate, not as many kids as the Palm City park which is good if you want to practice without having to worry about running into people. Cons: Very linear

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
