This is a beautiful and peaceful park. It has a nice walkway by the water. The wooden playscape is very big and fun however it gets very hot in the summer heat. There is a big hill good for sledding down on the winter. The fountain gets turned into a little ice rink in the winter which I practice skating on.
Mighty. Patterson Park is a small park with a lot of options. A lakeside park it has a boardwalk and personal craft launch. The views of Lake Saint Clair are magnificent. The park also offers picnic areas, restrooms, water pad, play structures and open spaces.
This park is restricted to GP park residents only and my wife and I regularly walked to this place for 5 years before we moved out of Grosse Pointe Park, MI. This is my wife's favorite park for it's lovely shoreline view, quietness and beauty. This park has a nice kayak access site.
It's a very nice large park with activities for all ages. A spacious field when you first enter which fr my impression seems perfect for dogs and their owners. A reflection pool with a little place surrounded by shrubs to sit at a table and chat.
