With all that is going on in the world, it's good to take a breather amidst nature to decompress. This is a good park to take a leisurely stroll since they have a ~1 mile paved trail (~2 mile round trip) that also acts as the disc golf course with benches throughout.
I love coming here for some relaxation. Great place to bring the kids for play time, fishing, biking, dog walking or just simply sitting at one of the benches enjoying a lunch. It's very quiet and the park is well maintained. Big enough to have some sort of privacy but nothing too big.
Two play grounds. One seemed for smaller kiddos, then when you walk down the stairs/old dock? There is another play area for kiddos 5-12. We walked the path also. Pretty area!
The park is well maintained and has plenty of shade, making it a great place to spend a hot summer day. The disc golf course is seen challenging and the playgrounds are well equipped for children of all ages. The fishing pier is a great place to catch bass, catfish, and bream.
