Confirmed from McCarthy Park and Fields' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about McCarthy Park and Fields
Trails are well maintained, nice spot to enjoy walking/running through (for pleasure or exercising) also a fantastic spot to go sledding when it snows. One of the only spots in Medfield that hasn’t changed much over the years, hope it’s never developed.
this is a beautiful Medfield Park with a lot of wild area IE not manicured. There is a great sledding hill with parking area at the top of the hill. Now the fields are well-manicured and authorized for use through the town Rec Dept.
