Confirmed from McIntyre Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean recreation area with swings, a jungle gym and a playground as well as ponds for fishing and kayaking.
What runners say about McIntyre Park
“There's not much there but it's a very pleasant and well-maintained Park.”
“Quiet place, clean, ample parking and great views and wildlife.”
Great pond to walk. Clean picnic area, yet small. Clean, fun, and well kept 9 holes disc golf course. Small for a country park. Pretty for a municipality. Big dog area. (If your into that kinda thing)
Pretty nice park, alot of doggie drops on the trail showing unresponsible dog walkers, it takes 2 seconds and its ur dogs people....ty.
Love this place. Peaceful little place just outside the city. Small playground. Bluegill pond, paved biking/walking trail, pavilions.
We came here for Scarecrow Saturday this year and had a great time! I've lived in the area for several years and though I knew the park and trail were here, this is the first time I made it it here. It's a beautiful park and a gorgeous trail. I am planning on coming back to take some Fall pictures with the kids...

The practical stuff

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
