This is a great place to walk. From the Emeryville Peninsula you have open vistas of the East Bay, the Berkeley campus, and the urban scene
Wear layers because the wind coming in off of the water can cold and strong, and nothing wrecks a good walk than being uncomfortable, in my opinion.
I love this park. The ocean side always has a cool breeze and the marina side in warmer, with birds and boats. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco and Marin is stunning. The paths are nice and clear, well paved, and there is a public bathroom (open even during COVID). Lots of parking.
