Confirmed from McPherson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about McPherson Park
“Nice quiet park tucked behind Southlake Town Center just behind the Hilton hotel.”
Nice quiet park tucked behind Southlake Town Center just behind the Hilton hotel. Large pond with a water sprayes. Nice wide path circles the park. Walking, jogging , just sit on the grass or benches and enjoy the outdoors. Parking along the street gets you just ten feet from the car to the park.
A very nice park, practically hidden away, with ducks in residence! Come by for a during a walk. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, Salata being a personal favorite. Come by and enjoy the views!
I love the fountains here. A nice place for a walk or to sit and enjoy a bit of nature in town. Free parking nearby.
Great small park with a large pond. Wonderful bald cypresses along the edges of the pond. Great sidewalk for walks.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
