Confirmed from Meadowlark Trail - McPherson Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Maintained nicely and dog friendly. Great open trail to take a long stroll on. my dogs and I love it! Definitely recommend it. It’s maintained by volunteers too, so make sure you take care of it too if you visit!
An Ok walking trail. No shade or interesting scenery. Good for walking to just burn calories and be away from people for a little bit. Watch out for snakes though! Clean and quiet🌻🌻🌻
Nice trail. From the McPherson trailhead, can see a long ways over farm fields. Some wooded fence rows break up the fields. The trail is great for a walk after work. From the Lindborg end the trail is much more interesting. It is more wooded and crosses and runs near the Smokey Hill River river.
The trail is well kept by an Adopt a Mile team with seats along the trail. Very handy for folks like me with chronic pain illnesses who still like to get out and "hike" (quotations because the trail is nice and flat and easy to walk).
