Nice easy flat trail. Usually just go 2 miles in and back. That portion is well shaded and somewhat scenic. Much better than the first couple miles of the south end of the trail. Only downside is no good close parking. We parked at the swimming pool which is a fair ways from the trail head.
We enjoy visiting this wonderful trail. Each season has its unique features.
We found this Trail in the town of Lindsborg. We thought we would ride our bike to McPherson. We got several miles down the trail. But the trail just ended. A beautiful but hot trail in July.
Reached via Valkommen trail. A beautiful canopy of trees forms a tunnel of greenery. A great way to spend some time in nature, or even to get your steps in for the day.
