We love to go here my girls always have a great time the park is huge and entertaining for all ages, there are soccer and football fields so tons of space to run or throw a ball. They will be adding a splash pad soon cant wait!
An unexpected gem. As your wheels go along the trail, you pass by the river on your right and a beautiful meadow on you left. Trees overhead keep you shaded as you go around every new curve. I have been in Dixon my whole life and it's hard to believe that I have never taken this offshoot of the railroad bike path.
Not entirely sure if it is Meadows Park or the Lowell Parkway Trail or some sort of strange nameless conjoined area of both but there are a few nice trails to walk (my personal preference), bike, and (according to the signage) horseback ride. A few small hills and some decent scenery.
Great park. My children really love playing here. Well maintained. Very open with a lot of room to run
