Confirmed from Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic, elevated terrain with multi-use trails, picnic shelters & a 9-hole disc golf course.
What runners say about Memorial Park
“Beautiful spot with a stunning view of Red Wing and plenty of quiet areas to relax and picnic.”
I was amazed when I got to the top of the bluff. Right from my parking spot I could see for miles. To be honest, I felt a little sick being up so high at first. It took a little getting used to, looking down upon all of Red Wing, with cars like little ants driving around down below.
Nice little drive up in the hill. There are no picnic shelters here. There are trails however it is not easily accessible from main area. There is limited parking up on the hill. The view is great. It is well maintained.
Great park. There is an 18-hole Disc Golf course, hiking trails, mountain biking trails. In the winter much of the park is groomed for cross country skiing. Amazing views of Red Wing and the Mississippi river valley.
This park has lots to offer. My GPS took me to the street across from the stairs up to the park, instead of to the parking lot lol. Which was fine. The views are really nice. If you don't want to hike Barn Bluff you can come here for similar views. The quarry rock is neat too. Reminds me of back home in Ohio.
