Confirmed from Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor recreation area with baseball diamonds & a tennis court, plus picnic tables & a playground.
What runners say about Memorial Park
“Nice, clean park for a family outing like a picnic, for children to play, or just to kick back and relax for a while.”
“A beautiful park in Royal Oak on 13 mile and Woodward with large trees and well kept lawns.”
“Despite all of the trees, the playground is un-shaded.”
Our kiddo and I are on an adventure to visit all of the nearby parks so stopped by to see what this park has to offer. Google took us to the front of the Veteran Memorial which is located within the parking lot of a dealership. We turned right on Starr Rd past the dealership and parked closer to the playground.
A beautiful park in Royal Oak on 13 mile and Woodward with large trees and well kept lawns. Parking is available for the classic cars for a fee of $40 for Friday and Saturday for the Woodward cruise weekend. It's one of the best parking spots around in my opinion
Park was a beautiful setting for the Clean Cruise event. Spacious, plenty of shade.
