Confirmed from Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Memorial Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (240 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 8 mentions

“Otherwise, it's very well kept, the pond is beautiful, and there are several pokestops if you happen to play Pokemon go.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“Beautiful park, and it's off the beaten path, located behind the municipal building, so you sort of have to know it exists to find it.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“A peaceful place to drink coffee or read, or just walk.”

A peaceful place to drink coffee or read, or just walk. Measured 1/4 mile walkway around the perimeter. Lots of benches. Very clean. Public restroom, also very clean. Lots of dogwalkers, but the dogs are leashed and all the owners pick up with town-supplied plastic bags. Pleasant spot.

★★★★☆ — Steven , Oct 2018

Beautiful place for a walk. Plenty of paved trails for strollers. Pet friendly. The fountain and gazebo are very well maintained. My GPS had a hard time finding the place but Google maps did fine. Highly recommend Memorial Park!!!!!!!!

★★★★★ — Kari , Jun 2019

A lovely park! Very well maintained... nice fountains and trails, chess tables, skate park, pickle ball courts, lots of space.

★★★★★ — Dustin , Oct 2020

The Memorial Park was very nice. Well manicured and very clean. The walking trail was nice around the pond with the fountain.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Memorial Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
