Confirmed from Meramec Greenway Trailhead: Lower Meramec Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved, dog-friendly hiking trail with scenic river views and benches.

Really enjoy this path when wanting to get a quick walk in. I love that you can walk right down to the river if ya want.
I found this to be a nice quiet place to walk and unwind from some stress. Both the view of the river and the sound of the wind blowing through the trees were quite relaxing. There are no playgrounds, just walking trails and still views of the Meramec River. The path from one trailhead to the next is 2 miles.
I spend a lot of time here walking my dogs. There is a paved and unpaved option. Sometimes will flood during the right season though.
It's been close to 10 years since I've been to this park. Nothing's really changed since I've been here last which is a nice thing. There are more people here than on my last trip. This park has some nice scenic spots to look at the Merrimack River.

“Aside from the views of the Meramac River, the atmosphere can feel rather bland, but if your goal is exercise then it’s no big deal.”
“We like the wooded trails but there is also a very accessible, and scenic, asphalt trail that is very flat, in case you don't want steep hills.”
“The west parking lot was recently repaved, and is nicer to park on than the old rock lot with pot holes.”
