Confirmed from Middle Branch Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

The trail is nice and well kept. Nice scenery in the midst of the city.

One of my favorite trails to walk. There are so many different places to jump on this trail, from north canton to down town canton. Convenient benches & bathrooms along the way. Playgrounds to stop and play at. At the veterans park there is a bike rental station (requires stark county library card).

Well maintained trails, I walk ot everyday. Lots of wildlife, deer, rabbit, groundhog, snakes. Very peaceful and relaxing fairly flat terrain, just watch out for the occasional psycho bike rider.

The paved trail is such a great experience! Some hills can be difficult to bike if you are new to riding or for little ones. The scenery is beautiful and different throughout the trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
