Fun hike trail in the forest. The trail 1 should take some 1.5 to 2 hours and goes through a moderately thick forest. If you are lucky, you might spot a deer or rabbit or maybe some other animal.
My friend and I brought my dogs and her parents’ dogs for a little hike/walk time together. We had a pleasant time on the trails. We did a couple of the shorter ones since we had little dog legs to keep mind! There were some beautiful views and spots. All the trails are labeled wonderfully, so it’s hard to get lost.
The trails are not paved. These are dirt trails that may be over take a bit by nature and in some areas where the horse trails are you may see deeper mud. I wouldn't go after a big rain unless you plan on getting muddy. as my dad would say this is not intended for seniors.
Super pretty park just a few minutes from Burlington. Went on a gorgeous fall afternoon and did the blue trail hike. We went counter clockwise and the beginning does have a pretty steep incline but honestly not too bad. The rest is downhill or relatively flat.
