Confirmed from Middleton Hills South Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Middleton Hills South Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (71 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Fantastic neighborhood park! Small playground area, soccer field, and basketball court at the main entrance to the park. No parking lot, parking is limited along street at main entrance of park. Parking available street-side along other sides of park. Boardwalk takes you through about a third of the marsh area.

Always a nice little stroll. Small field for soccer and a boardwalk to the adjacent plaza is pleasant for bird watching and ends at a small playground with basketball and volleyball courts.

Very close to my 'hood. So many ducks, cranes, frogs, turtles, etc. Always something to see and to explore. Really nice boardwalk. Friendly peeps and pets along the way. Nice play eqquipmemt for kidz. 😊

So beautiful! Feels like you're completely out of the city walking on the wooden pathways through the nature reserve.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
