Confirmed from Milford Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature center with a butterfly house, prairie dog exhibit, playground, and displays on Kansas wildlife.
What runners say about Milford Nature Center
“Beautiful place, short but good trails and some pretty animals.”
This place is really nice and it's free. They have beautiful birds and other animals inside. they have things for the kids to touch and then they have a whole playground for the kids. And they have a beautiful walking trail.
We love this place! Eagles, vultures, hawks, and owls outside. Reptiles, amphibians, and a ferret inside. Great trails right by the lake.
Quite a nice place with local nature information. There are various snakes on display, and also Prairie Dogs. There is a lovely outdoor area to walk through and there are birds on display that are local to the area and are captive due to an injury. A great chance to see them fairly close.
This place is great. Beautiful scenic. Wonder variety of animals. Got to see a Praire dog up close. The golden and bald eagle were interesting to see so close. The butterfly garden was so pleasant. I thought there was a fake turtle in there he was real. A enjoyable visit for anyone new to the area.
