Confirmed from The Bluffs Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park featuring a pond and trail, plus opportunities for biking.
What runners say about The Bluffs Park
“The park is nice and seems clean.”
“We were able to take our dog, Maverick, and enjoy a nice walk with beautiful scenery and the great thing about it is that is right here in Junction City.”
Very beautiful. Probably one of the best trails I've ever been too. The trail is about a mile. While I was there I noticed a dad and his son fishing so it's also a place to fish If your looking for a place to try out. So many different kinds of birds all throughout the park.
This is a wonderful loop trail of about 1 mile. There is a pond at the start, and about halfway around is another beautiful small pond . The trail is heavily timbered.
Driving across Kansas, this was a lovely spot to stop, stretch our legs and explore. Close to the highway but once you get on the trail you feel miles away. Our toddler loved riding her strider bike on the trail through the woods. Quite a few mosquitoes, but that was to be expected with the rain nearby.
Nice overlook southeastern view. The park is nice and seems clean. There is a lovely pond at the south end of the park with a nice overlook to it. Update February 2022. Went hiking on the trail and it was quite a nice path, about 1 mile in length and had lots of trees so it would be nice to walk in the summer.
