Confirmed from Mill Pond Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I, along with my wife and other JORBA volunteers, created this multi-use trail system in this Green Acres property. The loop is about 2 miles long and is marked with green, red, white and blue markers. There is a kiosk with map at the trail head along Riverside Drive. This property has hunting in the fall M-Sat.
Really enjoyed myself I looked down and saw the deer tracks looked up and saw the deer running amazing I'm from NC I’m used to it but seeing it here really crazy
Nice Place but from November 1st to December 31 this place can only be used for licensed/permitted walk in hunting (except Sundays) per Port Republic ordinance 03-2017. There is a sign at the entrance saying this and also that violators are subject to fines and/or incarceration.
It was an awesome experience. I was looking for peace, quiet and solitude. This area gave me That. I was able to observe the walk in complete peace and quiet. The trail is not that long, Maybe half a mile, if that. I went early in the morning. Maybe 8 AM. I did not encounter anyone on the trail.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
