Confirmed from Patriot Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“A great park for dogs! Nice walking path, loads of clean up stations, and off leash area.”

It is a nice park that is dog friendly. We took our two dogs there and a baby in a stroller. There is a nice paved path around the lake there. Picnic tables and a large fancy playground is there too. No dogs allowed in the playground.

I always love this park. I walk the .30 miles trail around the lake, while waving to my kids at the playground as I pass them(imagination station II). A recently added dog park means there are plenty of my four legged neighbors about to say hello to as well.

In town visiting & wanted a pet friendly place to take my beloved fur bestie. She enjoyed the walk around the lake & meeting other fur babies in the dog park. I also noticed a HUGE children's park. This park was very peaceful & clean. Next time I'm visiting, I'll come by again!

Beautiful park to take your doggo for a walk! A lake surrounded by a paved path with beautiful flowers. There’s an off leash fenced-in area where doggie bags are available too. There’s a separate area for dogs under 35 lbs and over 35 lbs. My dog loved the friends he made. 🐾

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
