Confirmed from Millennium Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Millennium Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (438 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Nice clean park with walking/jogging path, swings for the kids and a splash park, although it won't be running until the weather gets warmer.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“The walking trail at this scenic park is very pleasant and perfect for those who enjoy walking at a leisurely or moderate pace!”

This is a great park with a nice playground for kids. During the summer they have a small water park area too. If you're looking for a nice quiet place in the morning for a walk it do get some laps in this is a great place for that too. There's also a soccer field and it's dog friendly.

★★★★★ — Julian , May 2024

Nice clean park with walking/jogging path, swings for the kids and a splash park, although it won't be running until the weather gets warmer. We'll manicured grass makes it an inviting park. Also has a book nook for things to read while you're enjoying the park.

★★★★☆ — Todd , May 2023

A simple park with a splash pad (there is a fee). There is a walking path that loops around the soccer field, playground, pavillion, and swings. It's a serene park with a lovely atmosphere for enjoying a walk, watching a game, etc.

★★★★★ — Megan , Jun 2025

The walking trail at this scenic park is very pleasant and perfect for those who enjoy walking at a leisurely or moderate pace! My friends and I walked around the trail 3 times and were satisfied with our workout!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 2 mentions

“A very nice park with portapotties.”
