Confirmed from Millwood State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lakefront park featuring alligators as well as camping, hiking trails and playgrounds.

Nice friendly staff. They were so helpful in locating and retuning my lost cell phone. Can't thank them enough. Beautiful scenery and fine campsites for tent or RV. Several clean bathrooms and showers. Best hiking trails I've seen around this area and Lake Millwood has some of the best fishing in this region.
Not a long drive from Texarkana. They have two trails for walking, one that’s 4 miles and one that’s 1 1/2 miles. I saw lots of frogs, a herd of whitetail deer, and three alligators. Lily Cove was the best place to see gators on the Waterfowl Trail. 03/18/2025
My boyfriend and I stayed in a tent and we camped there for 4 days and 3 nights. I love how quiet and clean the environment is! very beautiful nature preserve trails for hiking or biking
